OBSYRN wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born from real life — from struggle, from love, and from a refusal to settle.

I'm Deshawn. A 29-year-old Black British man who grew up navigating childhood trauma, teenage hardship, and a school system that didn't know what to do with a dyslexic kid with a dream. Sport was my way out — I was a promising young athlete, and for a while, it felt like my future was written. Then life had other plans.

I went to university anyway. Not because it was easy — it wasn't — but because giving up was never really an option. And now, I'm building something I never imagined: my own brand. OBSYRN is the freedom and financial stability I was chasing. It's my future. It's my family's future.

Why Women's Activewear?

Someone close to me. That's the honest answer.

She spends a fortune on the usual activewear brands because she deserves to feel good when she moves. But premium shouldn't mean unaffordable. And beyond the price tag, she deserves more than just a product. She lives with depression, anxiety, and PMDD. Some days, getting dressed and getting moving is an act of courage.

I wanted to build a brand that meets women exactly where they are — whether that's crushing a PB or just getting off the sofa. A brand that makes you feel sexy, comfortable, and seen. A brand that pulls you out of a slump just by putting it on.
